Again this is no time to deal with crazy youth who are in a frenzy- they have no soul at that point. They’re just part of a mob it’s not even Fred or Susie any more!

Your advice won’t work 100% of the time. Of course, you never implied that. But it will work maybe 95% of the time. That makes it very good advice.
Years ago I attended a martial arts seminar. We were told that the end of the event, a famous Japanese karate guy would share with us his best move. What could that be, I wondered. A flying kick? A special power punch?
Well, the end of the seminar finally came. And the Japanese karate guy took center stage. “My best move,” he said, “is not to be there.”
He meant exactly what you said.
