It won’t work because only about one fifth of the population feels any support for the radical left, and of that perhaps half are lukewarm. If it came to a shooting war, the radical left would find themselves with very few allies in the military or police ranks. It would not end well for them.
I can’t say that I am hoping it will end well for them. This has been a long time coming, they reap the whirlwind.
