In the daylight, demonstrators gathered calmly, carrying cardboard signs, toting children, and chanting Black lives matter! Volunteers passed out water and snacks. As the protest grew, a white man outfitted in black pants and black boots strategized with his friendthey wanted to make sure everyone had a mask. That wasnt much of an issue, most people were covered, although masks were the only reminder a pandemic had kept the city shut down since March.
The crowd was packed as densely as the entrance to Nats Park five minutes before game time. Many of the citys white young professionals mingled with black protestors, young and old. In Washington, black patients accounted for 47 percent of COVID diagnoses and 80 percent of deaths as of May 6. Social distancing was all but impossible in the thick of the protest.
Pics are a little too small to see the fine detail. For example, it’s hard to make out the dust mites on their skin.
LOL
#dustmitelivesmatter!
In the daytime you had the peaceful protests in a mixed race group of the usual liberal protestors, sort of a combination of BLM and the pussy ears bunch.
In the evening, another group comes out, overwhelmingly white, who pursue ANTIFA style violent tactics. I saw home made video from a friend of the latter group marching together apparently from a marshaling area east of Downtown toward the Capitol. It appears they are well organized and coordinated. They use the peaceful demonstrations as cover.
Seems it was a large group of people.
yeah, so peaceful.
I know what i’ve been seeing on tee vee the last couple of nights.
Screw this.
