MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) Fox 9 reports that the Hennepin County Medical Examiners report released Monday ruled the death of George Floyd a homicide.
The updated report states that on May 25, George Floyd experienced a cardiopulmonary arrest while being restrained by a law enforcement officer(s). Ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is now charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter in connection to Floyds death.
Earlier Monday, the attorneys for the family of George Floyd shared the findings of their separate autopsy, which determined that Floyd died of asphyxia from sustained pressure on his neck and back.
The new Medical Examiners report also notes other significant conditions such as arteriosclerotic and hypertensive heart disease; fentanyl intoxication; and recent methamphetamine use.
Last week, the Hennepin County Medical Examiners Office released a preliminary report in which it was determined that Floyd likely died from a combination of underlying health conditions, being restrained by police, and any potential intoxicants in his system.
There was reportedly no physical evidence that he died of asphyxia of strangulation.
This is NOTHING like the Michael Brown saga.....Nothing!
Michael Brown wasn't seen being hand cuffed and walked to the police vehicle and he wasn't seen lying face down on the concrete with a LEO kneeling on his neck during the last 8 minutes of his life...........
Like I said, it's not going to be a question of guilt but rather how much time the cop will spend in jail.........
Rather than calling posters names and insinuating they are trolls, you might wanna learn to discuss legal cases in a more logical manner. Your hyperbole is weakening your arguments, which defeats your attempt to play judge, jury, and executioner with regard to Chauvin.
The videos the bootlickers refer to, long precede the video on which he is lying down on the ground on his stomach, handcuffed, with two policemen on his legs and Mr. Kneecap on his neck.
And the video of him with the knee on his neck is uncut, not "conveniently edited" and taken from six feet away, so close you can see the grimaces on his face and that of Mr. kneecap with his sunglasses jauntily perched on his head.
You never bothered to read the Statement of Probable Cause against Mr. Kneecap, did you?
Because it said he complied once the handcuffs were on; and there is independent security cam video from a store, after he's out of the car, showing him peacably beening helped to his feet by the officers, in cuffs, after he'd been seated by the wall of the store.
But you cover that up and lie and insinuate.
Nobody likes a dirty cop.
Except other dirty cops and the policeman's union.
Pot...meet kettle. 🤣
The precipitating event was passing a bad $20 bill, which is not a threat to life or limb and does not trigger the use of deadly force.
Still less is deadly force justified for a man laying down in the street, unconscious, in handcuffs, with two policemen on his legs, and without a pulse.
I totally agree. Apparently common sense has been swept aside in this case, even on FR.
So you want to string ppl up based on the look on their face? Is evidence even necessary any more? I pray youre never on a jury.
I have made no excuses, but relied on official charging documents from the State of Minnesota.
See, what you're doing, is calling the State liars, but believing the police implicitly.
Nice try, troll-boi.
You love to call ppl names. Its juvenile and unnecessary. I havent once done the same to you, nor have any of the other posters on here. If this is your general response to anyone who disagrees with you, then I pity your wife and family.
Doing that when the facts are available, makes it look like you completely endorse his behavior -- which is literally, by the Charging Documents, held by the State, to be murder.
"Probable Cause."
It makes you look like you WANT the police to be a law unto themselves, answerable to no one.
Just like the dirty cops in DC helping Hillary, Framing Flynn, and Committing Treason against Trump.
What did you expect, a Nobel Peace Prize?
There you go again with your histrionics and snide comments. I guess its all you know, which is sad. I prefer to wait until more evidence comes out before I judge someone guilty or innocent, which is the typical procedure in a civilized society. I guess thats just me. But you do you.
Note knee-on-neck ex-cops’s smug, imperious facial expression has vanished in the mug shot, after his authority has been removed.
???
I do not disagree with you. As in all cases, infamous or mundane, facts in evidence are the only ones that matter in the end, in a normal world, where courts get to be the finder of fact and render judgement. Video on the internet isn’t the be all and end all.
I also condemn every illegal act performed in the name of this incident as well, as I assume everyone who is rational and sane.
Regards
Right, so the state can use grainy low quality black and white security video at a bad angle at night to help arrest a civilian, but a high quality video from six feet away in broad daylight is suddenly unreliable when it nails a corrupt state actor well enough to charge him with murder within 3 or 4 days.
Pull the other one, it's got bells on it.
I guess you failed to notice the Statement of Probable Cause from the state of Minnesota, references the video.
Because video isn't subject to faulty memory or coaching like human witnesses are.
Evidence in court.
Do you not think that a court will dispense justice?
Certainly I am on record as being hard on Leo’s, the ought to know better, as they as re supposedly trained.
But, all this is getting everyone nowhere we want to be, quickly.
Peace brother.
What the hell is a troll boi? And Im a woman, you dumbass.
Why are you being so juvenile? Did you think the Covington kid was guilty as charged based on his smug smile? Or do you just believe everything the media says because youre incapable of independent thought?
