Looters besieged Macys iconic Herald Square store in New York City Monday evening as police brought in to enforce an 11 p.m. curfew set by the citys mayor struggled to control and apprehend an overwhelming crowd that smashed windows and damaged property at the store. Shortly after the curfew began, police were bringing out a third looting suspect, according to a Fox News crew at the scene.

I guess being a company all woke and anti Trump didn’t buy any protection.
was more than just Macys..they went wild all over Manhatten and attacked cops all over the city....they fell into Trumps trap again....
NYC got destroyed last night. Apparently there were 8,000 cops on duty, but the relationship between DeBlasio and NYPD has gotten so toxic, hardly any of them lifted a finger stop the mayhem and looting. And I think DeBlasio has simply given up being mayor. The job is too much for him.
Who needs black Friday now. These stupid liberal companies will pay dearly in lost sales come holiday season
>> 11 p.m. curfew set by the citys mayor
Earlier reports indicated it was Cuomo’s curfew.
Rudy could have told him otherwise, but he isn't the kind of man to listen.
The police responded to that scene with a sense of urgency you havent seen anywhere else in NYC. Between the tough times for retailers In general and the high cost and dysfunction of NYC, I wonder if Macys has put the city government on notice that their iconic store on 34th Street is a prime candidate for closure.
Gothamist reported last year that Macy’s was talking about turning the property into a skyscraper office tower, and was in talks with the city about changing the zoning.
And to think when I went to NYC 2 years ago, I thought the city was actually pretty safe because the police presence was so visible.
The LOOTING has BEGAT MORE LOOTING!! These Black and white YOUTHS SEE LOOTING as REPARATIONS!
insurrection act coming because NY cant get it under control
11 pm is ridiculous for a curfew. A curfew to prevent looting needs to be in a daylight hour And then the streets need to be cleared. Water hoses with permanent dye might help those with a job to go home. Fill buses with curfew breakers and take them somewhere to book them.
“And to think when I went to NYC 2 years ago, I thought the city was actually pretty safe because the police presence was so visible.”
Maybe 5 years ago. The city was great under Rudy and Bloomberg, in fact safer than many states, and even safer than London at one point. But that was another time, and the people felt guilty about it, not enough killings and other violence. So they voted in their present mayor to get things back to ‘normal’ for them.
Well Duh ! Of course the curfew did not stop looting and violence. Why should a declaration of a curfew have any effect if the criminals are not terrified of losing their lives ? Why is it that us Normal People have to be the ones afraid ? There is somthing realing f*cked up going on here.
Something is in the air, it stinks, and it ain’t the virus....
Dashika did you know we have a curfew? Now run along
