It is a skit with Buble and is usually run in their Christmas compilation program each Christmas season. There is an occasionally a funny skit done in the past. 30 years. Not often, but occasionally.
Watching the video - at the 0:19 mark, did I hear the guy correctly? Sounds like in the midst of his Arabic (or whatever) comments, he yelled “you mother!” Did I hear that right? (I hope so. It cracked me up.)
Ah, crap. It’s a skit? Never mind. (Thought it was a sign of successful cultural assimilation...)

In NYC, it’s very difficult to get a firearm of any type, though I believe recent SCOTUS rulings did force NYC to roll some of the rules back.
Not that long ago, there were 3 type of permit, one, the most common, was a premises permit. The firearm was not to be removed from the premises, even to take to a range for practice.

So is DC despite a court case that protected the 2 amendment rights of citizens to own guns. I remember a series of articles by a female journolist that documented her battles with the bureaucracy to get a permit. It took a long time.
Just hope she is well and safe today.
