I haven’t been to LA in decades, but is Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Hollyweird Blvd? If so, looks like the NG has lined up some really big vehicles to protect the property along the blvd.
Have no idea. I just was reading a story about the filming of The Day the Earth Stood Still(1951 original version). The huge robot alien was played by a 7 foot 7 inch tall waiter from Grauman's who took the role. Now they would do a CGI and not hire an actor.
I watched it live on youtube last nite. There was some pretty good action rounding up looters, and two seperate high speed chases. One with a white Suburban and one with a white pickup, both ended without crashes. Helicopters following the chases, arrest apprehensions, and firefighting efforts.
They showed the NG rolling in, and troops deployed.
