Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Tuesday that Canadians are watching whats unfolding in the United States with horror and consternation and he paused for 21 seconds when asked about U.S. President Donald Trump and the use of tear gas against protesters to clear the way for a photo opportunity.
Trudeau has long been careful not to criticize Trump as Canada relies on the U.S. for 75 percent of exports. But Trudeau, who is usually quick to answer, paused and struggled to come up with the right words when asked about Trump calling for military action against protesters and the use of tear gas for a photo opportunity.
The prime minister avoided mentioning Trump directly.
We all watch in horror and consternation at what is going on the United States, he said. It is time to pull people together.

Why are all our so called friends trying to pile on? It’s times like these when you learn who your real friends are.
Trudeau is a Chinese puppet.
That whole tear gas rumor turned out to be a lie anyway.
Turdeau should know that we Americans look at Canada with horror due to his policies.
Maybe he had to put his eyebrow back on?
Well just like Obama, Trudeau speaks for some Canadians and not others, but he uses language that suggests he speaks for everybody in the country. His party received less than 40% of the vote to form the minority government they currently have.
I don’t think all Canadians look on the situation the same way, probably the percentages are a bit different than in the United States, but conservatives generally speaking are more favorable towards Trump and understand the call for law and order.
It has to be said that we don’t face similar dynamics in Canada so it’s easy to pontificate as Justin Trudeau likes to do. The 21 second pause was probably a time of panic, as in “do I say what I really think, or something political,” and I don’t know which side of that choice he came down on, you can imagine that much more direct things could be said by those opposed to Trump, whereas Trudeau is political enough to realize that not everybody shares the liberal view, but then he probably figured, can’t lose by sounding critical when all my political opponents on the left would say very negative things if asked this same question.
In a larger context, we are stuck with this never ending lack of realism in progressive politics, they have nowhere to go now but the fantasy world they created where various client groups need to be rescued from white domination, yet they themselves want to dominate and they are white (mainly) so how to square that circle? So they just issue these preposterous edicts that mean virtually nothing, time after time, and ride along on the surface of waves they help to create and sustain, while actually never doing anything much.
Obama had eight years to reform the justice system if that was a big priority, and what did he do? Very little. The police forces in large U.S. cities are all hired and trained by Democrats so I’m not even sure why all of this should be pinned on the president at all, it’s rather like blaming me for a plane crash in Pakistan. What do I have to do with it?
Hey Justin- F**k you.
Not only is he a communist-lite ahole, he’s also a verbal coward and political hack. Not bad for such a young fool.
I pretty much despise Canadians. They’re one of just two countries fortunate enough to share a border with The United States and yet they look down their noses at us constantly. But God Almighty when they need quality medical care and fast do they come straight here.
And for over 70 years they’ve been living under the protection of the most powerful military in the world. If they had Latin America on their southern border and not the US would they be singing a different tune.
Turdough was never a friend.
I like seeing Trueshit beaten.
President Trump was specifically talking about the rioters and looters and arsonists - NOT THE PEACEFUL PROSTESTERS.
He would hardly have room to talk, given his father invoked the War Measures Act During the October Crisis in Quebec in 1970.
That was a situation with a lot less violence than what we are currently seeing.

OK, I found it.
AP is fake news propaganda.
President Trump has many times shown the world that trudeau is an incompetent ass. The trudeau speech is nothing but political retribution
