It’s not vigilantism to stand your ground. But leftists delight in twisting the language to suit their agenda.

Democrats are openly supporting the insurrection taking place. We need to consider removing them from power. They are complicit in the violence, murder, arson being waged against Americans.

Vigilantes? We’re not vigilantes, we’re rioters!

I believe Fishtown is also the iconically working class town losing ground in one of Charles Murray’s books.

Yeah, OK, Dem panderer Kenny. You should be more afraid of your own constituents after you let their neighborhood stores get ruined.

F you mayor.

If your people can’t handle the situation, someone is going
to stand up and do it for you.

I’d advise you not to get in the way.

They best stop prosecuting Americans that defend themselves against the mob. That will spark something they REALLY don’t want.

However, protesters who turn into looters and assault people will be tolerated? Twilight Zone.

Son used to live there after first married. It’s actually multicultural area with many young professionals from the full spectrum of the city. His neighbors were Vietnamese, Korean and African American. All working long hours in and around Philadelphia. Most of townhouses are newly renovated.

You are correct FRiend. Fishtown has an interesting history.

In the book Coming Apart: The State of White America, 1960–2010 (2012), Charles Murray names an imagined entity of white working class decay for Fishtown, inspired by Fishtown, Philadelphia.[8]

It’s nice to see that “rooftop Koreans” can be white too. That’s the diversity that America needs. They should offer equal opportunity and affirmative action stopping power directed toward Antifa, BLM, and other rioters and looters who are actively engaged in violent crime.

Isn't rioting and violating stay at home orders because of some action by an accused killer a display of vigilantism?

None of the rioters are waiting for the judicial system to do its job and determine the punishment for the people accused of killing George Floyd. Instead they are out as vigilantes all over the country taking things into their own hands.

So Mayor Kenney needs to get to work and round up those "vigilantes" rioting all over Philadelphia.

Hello everyone. Long time reader, first time poster. I am a resident of Fishtown in the Riverward of Philadelphia. Have lived and owned restaurants here for 20 years.Everything that is being printed about the so called vigilantes is total garbage. There was no violence just a lot of yelling. The original fishtowners were out in force with baseball bats to protect our neighborhood and the new millenial soy boy home owners just couldn’t deal. Also the cops did a fantastic amazing job keeping the peace. Last night we had more protesting driving down Girard Avenue screaming at us through a bullhorn that we are racists and the BLM. It was pure unadulterated hate speech. And you know what we did? We laughed at them and then went home. We have a clean, lovely neighborhood of beautiful homes and family businesses and we will not allow any scum, black, white, blue, or pink to destroy it. Do not believe anything being said or written about us, please!! And for the record, once this shit is over I’m getting the hell out of Philly as fast as I can.

Not really north. Just 10 minutes from center city. A solid neighborhood where new homes are now selling for over 600K. Unfortunately many of them are being purchased by unfriendly and downright hostile millenials. It’s Girard Ave.

Absolutely. All we were doing was securing our neighborhood. The cops were also out in full force and did an amazing job. The amount of self control and restraint they show to these obnoxious children screaming in their faces is nothing short of extraordinary.
