There are a ton of upper-middle class kids that want to afix to a politically correct cause. They dont care what it is - just so they can protest - and go out afterwards to bars (or private homes in this time) to brag/celebrate.
A co-workers kid was failing her 2B term at the university of washington before it closed down. He was going to have get a job to save up for her 3rd year (instead of paying everything for her).
Now she is all about public good and protests and her mom will not allow her to be every be partially cut off.
Oh well - sucks to be my cowokrer in this situation
