No, the cop wasn't trying to "execute" Floyd. He was trying to arrest him and the guy had a heart attack which the cop was too stupid to realize.

Floyd was under arrest and cuffed. The police officer’s total disregard for Floyd’s health/life (kneeling on/near his neck for 10 minutes and ignoring pleas for help) ended in Floyd’s execution.
Since the infamous Eric Garner incident in New York City a few years ago I saw about a half-dozen or more scenes around the NYC metro area where the police were arresting black men for some reason or another in a public place: bus stop, train station, public street, etc. In at least half of the cases, the perpetrator immediately began complaining that he couldn't breathe as soon as the police handcuffed him -- even though none of these jerks were being physically restrained in any way.
This included one nitwit who must have yelled out "I can't breeve!!" at least 25 times ... even though he showed no signs of medical distress and was walking under his own power as he was led to the police car.
