It was a suggestion/recommendation, as they apparently think flying the flag might make houses targets for the rioters.

They should fly the flag, lock and load multiple weapons, and prepare to defend it.

Well, this is New Jersey, where only about 11% of the people own guns, so I don’t know how many of them are going to be armed...

I don’t live in Toms River. I do have both an American flag, and a Trump 2020 flag on my house, and they’re not coming down.
