I just sent my daughter a YouTube with Tucker Carlson from tonight it was excellant and he was showing what is really going on with the protests.
I sent it to my daughter and asked her to watch it. Her and her husband adopted a beautiful baby girl 2 days old and she is african american so my daughter is worried about racism.
Anyway after she got my email she responded and asked me why I sent the link to her and that she went to a protest today because she is worried about racism against her now 5 yr old daughter. She wasn’t sure if she was going to look at my link. I explained why I sent it to her but I don’t know if she got what I was trying to say. I am very discouraged right now. I am also afraid of her going to these protests.
About five years ago, my daughter and I put anything remotely related to politics strictly off limits. It is absolutely impossible to have an unemotional, fact based discussion with her. Her boyfriend is Nigerian, highly educated, an engineer, and successful. He’s been in the United States about 20 years now. He doesn’t let on what he thinks about the U.S. political situation.
