I am a cradle Catholic who was blessed to attend Daily Mass until the US Council of Catholic Bishops darkened church worship three months ago.

Honestly, I think the leadership is so gun-shy from the pedophilia scandals that they're trying to latch onto whatever political party that will allow them to continue doing what they're doing. The Catholic leadership is literally making a deal with the devil.
The Dems might allow the Catholic Church to exist, but they will hold them by the reins. The CC will simply be a voting block, nothing more, nothing less.
