“We cannot use Bibles as a prop," he said. "And for those that have agendas that are not about justice, this family will not let you use George as a prop.”

No because using George Floyd as a prop is reserved for Democrats...

A convicted robber who was high on illegal substances and delirious, unable to breathe standing up or sitting down in a car. An ambulance was called by police and they waited. And waited. And he died.

it would be the height of irony if we were to find the Al Sharpton Race Baiters had all started Trump’s hydroxychloroquine regimen as a prophylaxis against covid as they participate in these solemn proceedings across the USA.

And the leftard Minneapolis mayor knelt at the casket weeping. I didn’t know he and George were so close. You could make a better man out of a pile of moist sand.

EVERY family which has been denied a proper Funeral for a loved one “DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTION” should be OUTRAGED at this “special” spectacular.

What happened to Governor Walz’s limitations on large group gatherings?

Let me see if I can get this straight, they are blaming a president for an act by a city cop, who falls under a democratic governor, with a police chief that in 2007, he and four other African-American officers sued the department alleging discrimination in promotions, pay, and discipline. The lawsuit was settled by the city for $740,000, and in December 2012 Arrandondo was promoted to head of the Internal Affairs Unit responsible for investigation of allegations of officer misconduct.

So they have a liberal governor, a police chief that was in charge of making sure these types of actions could not happen, in a state that did not vote for Trump in 2016 by a wide margin, and they are blaming him?

These are leeches.

So his name is Perry Floyd? Not George?

I hope Perry’s children receive the donations from the GoFundMe account.

I unfortunately saw much of this “memorial service”.

It reminded me to some degree of the Paul Wellstone “memorial service” back in 2002.

The service was ran by, for and aimed at a black audience. As memorial services go, I heard few if any references to God. There was one black pastor at the end who spoke after Al Sharpton who said something to the effect that now it was time for church.

I somehow feel that afterwards he got his butt handed to him by trying to bring religion into what was more or less a political servoce.

Knowing what I know about Al Sharpton (and what all of you know about him), I just can’t take seriously anything he says or hold in high regard the issue he’s there for. Sharpton claims he was invited by Benjamin Crump to give the eulogy - but given Sharpton’s penchant for attention, I can’t but help feel he invited himself.

OTOH, Jesse Jackson was there for the service but sat in the audience silently and didn’t speak. That was refreshing to see.

It sounds like there’s gonna be a big rally in DC in late August. I get the feeling they’re gonna try to do a repeat of King “I Have A Dream” speech.

I could be wrong but this issue is not going anyway anytime soon.

"We cannot use Bibles as a prop," he said. "And, for those that have agendas that are not about justice, this family will not let you use George as a prop."

Says the guy who never met George, speaking to thousands of people who never knew George, and watched by millions of people who never knew George.

With the exception of Floyd's immediate family, and perhaps the citizens of Minneapolis, the whole thing is about something other than justice.
