Trump is just a really good poker player. He says things forcefully and its believable. This is why he has avoided wars for 3 years. People heard him and dispersed without him having to fire a shot. That’s called an amazing negotiation. The point isn’t to kill people its to calm the situation. Mission accomplished for now.

I’m sorry but I disagree. The narrative has been completely hijacked and turned political when it didn’t need to be. He has the bully pulpit and must seize the moment especially in an election season. Not addressing the people from the oval office is a big mistake and he’s losing out on a chance to be very Presidential.
I’ve emailed him several times to say as much and I’m hoping that he can say the same things that he did at nasa on Saturday to a national audience because nobody heard it. Simply repeating the same speech to a national audience would be a home run.
