Residents armed with AR-15s and wearing bullet proof vests are taking matters into their own hands across America, coming out in force to defend businesses and stop widespread vandalism by looters.
Heavily armed vigilantes wielding everything from bats to rifles have started appearing at protests in places including Philadelphia, Idaho, California and Chicago, threatening to take action if things turn violent in the absence of law enforcement.
In Minneapolis, neighborhood watch groups are springing up - in support of protests over George Floyd's death but in defense of businesses and homes being destroyed by looters as night falls.
In many cases, the vigilantes want peace and are focused on protecting local residents and businesses from looters.

Imagine if all American patriots actually used the millions of guns they have purchased to fight against the rioters and anarchist. It would do my heart good to see that happen.

Fine. Let him keep a low profile. Unfortunately, it seems to me from watching the news that EVERYONE is “keeping a low profile” and letting the leftist animals run wild and do whatever they want. No one is allowed to stand up to them.

These are NOT heavily armed vigilantes, these ARE armed residents protecting their homes and businesses against mobs and terrorists (Antifa).
If they are peaceful and simply trying to protect their lives, homes, businesses, and property, then they aren't really vigilantes are they?

No, it just bothers the hell out of me to see the country being destroyed and someone like you jumps on the bandwagon and attacks Trump. Trump is being blamed for everything that the criminals are doing. Completely insane.
Trump is acting. He has sent teams of federal bureau of prisons enforcers out to the affected places and other federal law enforcement types for which he needs no gubernatorial invite. No one was paying attention because he was screening it with threats to use the US Military for the job. Our guys are taking names, so to speak. There will be retribution, especially for the gun shop lootings which were the Antifas and bLMs securing arms.
