I am reminded of a line from a 1930’s gangster movie when a loud mouthed punk looks at someone chastising him and says, “Don’t make a federal case out of it!”

In the world we live in, more and more everything is being made into a “federal case” especially if you are one of us who believes in the rule of law, the Constitution and other antiquated ideas.
