Thursday on MSNBC’s “All In,” Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said Congress would investigate the Trump administration for using Washington, DC police and National Guard troops to clear out protesters from Lafayette Square for Trump’s visit to St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Jeffries said the action was a subversion of the protesters’ constitutional rights of freedom of assemble and freedom of speech.
Jeffries said, “Well, the president is out of control. We’ve seen that time and time again over the last four years. But this is a new level of concern because he’s enlisting the military of federal law enforcement officials in a manner that clearly subverts and undermines the United States Constitution which clearly provides in the First Amendment, the freedom of speech, the freedom of assembly, the freedom to petition your government. This is foundational to the American experiment.”

No news report has pointed out that the fireworks seen detonated during the park's evacuation came from the Peaceful Demonstrators themselves! Clearly they came prepared to finish the job.

My basic political theory is that both parties subscribe to the idea of a boutique candidate.
After a specific district is surveyed and polled to discover what it is the voters are looking for, they then find a candidate that can express those concerns.
The candidate does not have to believe in any of it, just that they are prepared to exchange their soul for a well paying job, with a lot of benefits and a chance at a little legal and illegal graft.
The reason’s politician “flip flop” or appear to be hypocrites so often is that they have no core values. They simply say or do what their pay masters want.
The reason both Democrats and Republicans hate President Trump is that he is not one of them. And, he is not under the control a pay master.
