That cost estimate is likely to increase in the coming days as government officials continue to tally the damage done in the wake of George Floyd’s death, Mayor Jacob Frey said according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and the state’s congressional delegation are also pushing the Trump administration and Congress for funding. On Tuesday, city officials released an initial estimate of $55 million in damage done to at least 220 buildings.

It is so apparent that the “state leaders” are really missing some things here.
They are funded by their taxpayers to protect and serve. It is obvious that they were not prepared for this or they are politically using this, or both (never let a good disaster go unused). They hire “experts” to tell them how to handle people and how to budget for contingencies. They “celled” up their citizens which, after all this time, put them on edge when it destroyed the previously stronger economy in their state and pressured people to feed their families with little of no income or sources for selection.
