I had an interesting conversation with a beat reporter for one of the local networks in which he told me that there are certain topics that cannot be discussed because of the treat of legal action; at the top of the subjects that are verboten are interracial crime and the high crime rate among the blacks.
He stated emphatically (with disgust) that the NAACP and BLM threatened to sue any media that say anything — and it is not just the locals that are censored. This censorship exists at the national level as well.
