Anger at the foreigners bringing in an industry then not using local people for those industry jobs.
It's also racial anger. The Chinese are WELL-KNOWN for being clannish. They are slightly worse than the Indians.

The Chinese are very clannish, which is why I laugh when Country Club republicans say they’ll create jobs if we allow them to emigrate here, because they never hire anyone IN their stores who isn’t Chinese. Having said that, there are a lot of immigrants who are clannish this way. These murders are sickening.
