The best WB cartoons were made between 1940 and 1950-52 or 53 with a few exceptions. Those films were funny and had balls. No PC crap back then. The characters were generally NOT friends but rather were antagonists. Funny stuff!!

Saw one of the cartoons.
A laudable attempt at trying to capture the spirt of the old WB shorts, but without the soul and smooth wit of the originals. You can feel that something just isnt there from the first minute in.
Obviously this story illustrates that they are going in halfassed anyway.

An interesting and stupid choice. Nobody hunts with a scythe, but the scythe/machete is the weapon of choice for Muslim extremists in the West. Is Elmer now a Muslim?
