Another FReeper posted this Thursday. I found it illuminating, although I don’t know why this hasn’t been more widely reported.
Read it all, if you can. It does go a long way to explain why Trump is keeping his cool and not calling in the military. He has other law enforcement assets available, all better trained for crowd control than active duty soldiers.
All the enemedia is reporting the same “news” to make the rioters think that D.C. is unprotected.
Okay, we don't know if this is true. It's the WaPo. They may just be making stuff up again to make it look like "the Trump administration is falling apart."
I think Esper may be filing for unemployment in the near future.

If anything, they held a high level pow wow with his military and political advisors and they all agreed that blood running in the streets of our capital at this time would be a bad message to send to the world, so Trump ordered the stand down. The public sight of armed snipers positioning themselves had already done the job anyway. Not even the bravest leftist hotdogger wants his brains blasted out.
I suspect two things. One, the baddies seriously want a “Kent State” with Guardsmen firing on civilians. And, second, if they can get the crowd they want, they may try to swarm into the White House.
I hope Trump’s team is ready for both eventualities; actually, I’m sure they’ve already thought of all this.

Much smaller crowd in D.C. than anticipated. National Guard, Secret Service, and D.C. Police have been doing a fantastic job. Thank you!
DC has been flooded instead with thousands of plainclothes armed Federal Agents from all kinds of govt. entities *besides* the Armed Services.
And the Secret Service has (there are photos of them carrying some *serious* MoFo looking l-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-n-g rifles) their anti-sniper sniper teams on the Mall.
One take is that since it is the job of the SS to protect the President they know every square inch of the area within sniper range of the White House ...to include where false-flag snipers would hide.

I was there, at SIU, when they were rioting, at the same time. Talk about a wakeup call... Parents started asking questions. And since most of these parents had lived thru WW2, these questions were hard to answer.
It also made Vietnam “Nixon’s War”, LBJ’s role was completely expunged from the history books.
