Time for Mattis and Kelly to Listen to MacArthur

First of all, let me say that this nation is in debt to former Marine Generals Mattis and Kelly for their service to the United States. Kelly in particular deserves our respect and appreciation. His own son gave his life as a Marine in service to America.

But I have to disagree with their recent public comments in opposition to President Trump. Not that President Trump can’t be exasperating at times. He has a tendency to irritate his supporters as often as he infuriates his enemies. Not one of his most endearing qualities for sure, nor a wise political strategy.

But my question to Generals Mattis and Kelly is, were things better under Barack Obama and Joe Biden? Did you agree with Barack Obama’s “fundamental transformation” of the United States?

If you’re so concerned about the Constitution of the United States that you believe President Trump threatens, then why didn’t you express your concerns about the genuine threats to our Constitution that Barack Obama presented? You had plenty of time and opportunity to speak out then.

Unless you weren’t paying attention, Barack Obama publicly complained about the U.S. Constitution preventing him from what he wanted to do. Barack Obama told us all, “I have a telephone and a pen,” and warned he was going to do whatever he wanted in spite of what the U.S. Constitution allowed.

So who has posed the greater threat, a duly elected president who has been fighting an ongoing coup d’etat since the day he took office, or a closet commie who is hiding behind the scenes and working hard to undermine his successor’s presidency and complete his “fundamental transformation” of our country?

Why aren’t you standing up in solidarity with President Trump who is trying to protect this nation right now against a radical leftist insurrection? Instead of criticizing the president, why aren’t you offering counsel on how to address the insurgency that is underway in our land?

If you haven’t seen what has been taking place, how a coordinated, multifaceted, and expansive conspiracy to undo a presidential election through unconstitutional means that has been underway since November of 2016, then I wonder how you could ever have risen to such a high rank in the United States Marine Corps.

Perhaps it’s time for both Generals Mattis and Kelly to do a little soul searching. The preservation of our liberty and freedoms which President Trump doesn’t threaten at all, but which is indeed threatened by the radical leftists in the Democratic Party, has been on full display for over three years now.

It’s Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and especially Barack Obama who threaten the very future of our country. They are the ones you should be speaking out against. Not the president who is trying his hardest to uncover the corruption and abuse of decades of career politicians from both political parties.

Time to consider what kind of a country we’ll have under another Democratic administration. Weakened and disrespected internationally with American Sailors held at gunpoint on their knees. Or a nation standing proud and strong as it has since President Trump reversed the evisceration of our military under Barack Obama.

President Trump might be brash, irritating at times, and maybe he doesn’t follow the political playbook you spent forty years or so following. But those of us who voted for President Trump support him for that very reason. Enough of the ‘old guard’ political machines and the politicians they control.

It is past time for Generals Mattis and Kelly, and all the other ‘old guard’ military leaders to support President Trump and defend our nation against the destruction our nation will face under another Democratic administration.

Or follow General Douglas MacArthur's advice, “and just fade away”.

Both men were willing tools of the Endless War machine. Ike warned us about such men long ago, and we never listened.

Mattis and Kelly should not be mentioned in the same sentence as MacArthur. They by comparison have no accomplishments, no talent and no judgement. Mattis’s supposed accomplishments were against peasants in mud huts.

Mattis plays for the other team, he just hasn’t admitted it yet.

Mattis is on the BOD of General Dynamics.

Kelly is on the BOD of Calibern International.

Any questions?

Mattis and Kelly are both rats. A rat is a rat. I hope Trump knows now that is a dis-qualifier for any hire.

Once he is asked in the debate about why these generals turned against him, DJT will expose their conflicts of interests, financial and otherwise.

And you’ll never hear from any of them again. I suspect Trump will take no prisoners.

A pandemic, riots and with their joint announcements at this very time sends bad signals to troops.

At least McArthur won a war in his lifetime of service.
Something no General now can claim.

I am appalled by these guys and by Mark Esper. We all remember that scene in the movie 13 Days [Cuban Missile Crisis] where Kruschev and Kennedy are negotiating in real time - does Kruschev run the blockade or not. I cannot fathom that these guys don't understand that Trump - the mater negotiator - was negotiating in real time. He was saying to the leftist radicals and Soros - just where do you guys think this is going because if you think you are going to burn it all down there will be federal troops and shooting and a lot of people are going to get killed.

Imagine some General, or McNamara, in the Cuban Missile Crisis going public and saying don't take Kennedy seriously. We won't load up our planes with nuclear weapons and hit Cuba. He's staring an illegal war.

We would be living with Soviet domination of the Caribbean right now today.

We can guess that Mattis and Kelly, products of the world's greatest socialized organization - the DOD - have never negotiated anything much. But what was really astonishing was Esper. What was he negotiating? He undercuts his boss, stabs him in the back, for what?

He put his job on the line and probably lost it. To get what? To tell Soros, US troops won't shoot his legions if they start murdering Americans on American soil?

Trump on the other hand knew he was putting his presidency on the line. US soldiers shooting peaceful civilians would have cost him reelection if not forced him into resignation. To make sure that didn't happen, Trump had to make sure it would never happen - by threatening it.

Esper tried to bring about the unthinkable by stabbing a President in the back who was trying to make sure the unthinkable didn't happen, but telling everyone that they were going to bring about the unthinkable.

Trump had to prove that the left lost before they started and the only question is how big of losers they wanted to be.

So what did Kelly and Mattis and Esper really want? They should have thought about that before they threw away their reputations and their future employability.

I would like to know what the Biden campaign has promised all these GO mutineers? Officers of that senior level are a special club and they all communicate with one another, but it’s still interesting how they have all come forward at the same time to offer their opinions.

I am especially concerned that SecDef and all the Chiefs have sent out view the note emails with a memo iterating that we (military, civilians, contractors) support and defend the Constitution. Something we all have known, but now this subtle “reminder” being sent out.

Mattis, Kelly, Esper, McRaven et al are trying to get their counterparts in the pentagon to engineer a military takeover. Just one man’s opinion.

Mattis and Kelly equate National Security with American economic and military dominance in key global spheres of influence. Trump’s policy of making other countries pay for their own defense instead of mooching off of the American taxpayer is a mortal threat to the military-industrial complex and what the generals regard as American security. They see ridding Trump from the White House as a patriotic act.

I wonder about Mattis and Berger, one former and one current Marine Corps Commandant.

Mattis, because he is a disloyal POS. If you hate a man, you don’t agree to work for him. That is treachery and disloyal to boot. He is on the “other team” in more way than one.

Berger, because he has taken it upon himself to rid all Marine bases of any sign, flag, or statue that reminds one of the Confederate Army. This is erasing history by decree. NOT LEADING MARINES!
