It's a recipe for disaster. Trump doesn't do sympathy or empathy or unity or reconciliation, and he doesn't read prepared speeches very well. He'd come off as wooden and bored and disinterested. No speeches. Let Trump handle this in his own way.

I have to agree as much as I hate to admit he isn’t a good speaker at all. I like what he says but he really should take public speaking classes. I think we’re alone on this but that’s ok!!
