The President gives a speech where he mentions deploying troops if the governors and mayors don’t request the NG to restore order. The next day, the next day, Esper throws a press conference where he denounces the idea. We hear nothing from the top generals of the armed forces or the pentagon. I have to assume their by their silence they agreed with Esper.

Are you not aware that military members are never supposed to utter any political opinion about anything? The United States Military unlike any other is apolitical. We were instructed never to be seen in a political event. These former military members can say what they like, but I only feel contempt for their blatant subversive acts.
