The rank-in-file may support Trump but the top brass did not agree with The President about invoking the insurrection Act. That’s how it appeared to me. The President gives a speech where he mentions deploying troops if the governors and mayors don’t request the NG to restore order. The next day, the next day, Esper throws a press conference where he denounces the idea. We hear nothing from the top generals of the armed forces or the pentagon. I have to assume their by their silence they agreed with Esper.

He was trolling the leftists to goad them into trying to defend their failed policies and double down on their idiocy.   And guess what?   It worked.   It didn't mean President Trump intended to order the military to storm the cities.

With that, Esper and others outed themselves as part of the Deep State Swamp.

I have to assume their by their silence they agreed with Esper.

Are you not aware that military members are never supposed to utter any political opinion about anything?   The United States Military unlike any other is apolitical.   We were instructed never to be seen in a political event.   These former military members can say what they like, but I only feel contempt for their blatant subversive acts.   It is mind boggling that you could assume that silence means agreement.   Oh wait, you were never in the military.
