The problem is that the SPLC, Rainbow Coalition, BLM etc. are effectively shake-down artists, capable of sometimes crippling a company with negative publicity or debilitating lawsuits. There are few companies of any prominence that are completely clean on this score.

In 2016, one of the reasons I had not originally supported Donald Trump was that he gave money to Ted Kennedy’s campaign. In his book, the “Art of the Deal”, he praises Cuomo. The donations, I now understand as part of the cost of doing business in Manhattan construction. It is effectively a tax on anyone who wants to play in that game at a certain level.

I have heard enough stories about those who don’t emplot union labor on construction projects in Chicago. Those guys know how to sabotage your project and just break things, plus their connections make your life next to impossible with the inspectors.

I don’t know what pressure, if any , was brought t bear on King Arthur Flour, or if this was just the work of someone in a department who has say over such things free-lancing with the company’s charities.

I just know that it is next to impossible to boycott everyone who funds the bad guys like SPLC.

For my part, I just stick with boycotting anything that funds Planned Parenthood, who wants to be at the same level as PUSH and SPLC, and have a scalp with Komen Foundation, and others when practicable. That especially includes companies that not only manufacture in Red China, but are really owned by the Communist government (e.g. Huawei, Lenovo).
