I read recently that the Hebrides are the last part of Scotland which is religious.
It is where my husband’s ancestors are from.

We only recently discovered this, not sure of the village or exact clan. From his grandfather’s side who was from Nova Scotia.
Name that came up is McCleod from Scalpay, Harris, Inverness-shire.
Guess I got closer to village than originally thought.
Quite moving.
I saw this about a week ago and was very moved by it.
However, before passing it on, I have tried to determine if the family lineage and story told in it was true.
What I am learning is that there are some truths in it, and some things that aren’t true. Specifically, that President Trump also has a paternal uncle named Donald that he was probably named after.
The Donald Smith in the story may have been saved years after the President was born.
There are other inconsistencies, which I don’t recall, but there were several for anyone else who wants to look into it.
As I said, I was so moved, and truthfully, I actually do believe that God is using President Trump to help save our nation. I don’t think we need to make up stories about his history. God uses imperfect men (which we all are) to bring us to Him.

Donald was a distant cousin.....and was influential to the story
....The President’s mother left for America in her teens and many years later named her son Donald
