Lost in all of this is how much a name change of an installation could cost. It just doesn’t only involve changing a few signs at a cost of several thousand dollars. Just changing a military installation with any type of airfield would cost millions in charts and maps alone.

President would never go for that. He's all about trying to cut frivolous spending.
Congress just dropped a few trillion on Covid-relief. They have us on the run and are spending us into oblivion. In the current racial climate nobody in congress will look at this issue long enough to give the cost any serious consideration.
