Relocating the Confederate flag to museums is one thing, but to rename long-established bases is rather stupid. I suspect 99% of the population could not explain who Benning was and 99% would not care. It is Fort Benning.
Exactly. I went thru INF OCS at Benning, ABN, then the IOAC. I consider Bragg my home as I went through the SFOC,
jumpmaster plus much more there. These pukes need to DIE.
I’m against the renaming of these bases, but if they must be renamed much ado needs to be made about Woodrow Wilson’s administration being responsible for naming many of them in the lead up to WWI, and how the renaming is an effort to undo over a century of racism pushed on the military by the Democrat party.
