While we are disappearing Confederate monuments, lets disappear Arlington Cemetery since Arlington belonged to Robert E. Lee and slaves worked there.
I am waiting for the push to remove the Confederate Monument at Arlington. It is both one of the largest and the only monument that features African Americans.
They disappeared the crosses from the head stones years ago and not a single whimper from patriots or churches.
Well, on the bright side, I have heard the two lawsuits have been filed against the removal of the Robert E Lee statue in Richmond, that some of the argument Is that the statue cannot be removed, legalLy, according to its original charter (Much like the confederate relief on Stone Mountain in Atlanta, which is protected by law). I have also heard that the Richmond historic society has gotten involved, which essentially means a bunch of angry blue haired women with pitchforks. You don’t want to mess with them.
