Let Seattle stew in its own excrement; The National Guard has better things to do than save Seattle from itself.

"Pardon my ignorance, but doesn't the governor of Washington State have power to send his National Guards?"

Yesterday a reporter asked Inslee about the takeover, and he claimed to have not even heard about it. That's understandable if he gets his info from the Seattle Times. I saw nothing about it on their website on Tuesday or Wednesday, and nothing in the Wednesday paper edition, which devoted two full pages to St. George Floyd - " a father, a son, a friend who wanted 'to touch the world.'" (Times front-page headline.)

I'm also wondering where the FBI is. Based on the statements of the organizers, this "free zone" sounds like an act of insurrection against the United States - they are basically declaring themselves an independent nation.

During a pre-dawn raid staged for TV cameras, the FBI sent 15 or 20 heavily armed agents to arrest 70-year-old Roger Stone, an unarmed man charged with lying about a couple of emails. Where are those tough guys NOW?

That is the first thing I thought of also. Cordon the area, cut off water, electricity, natural gas, traffic, etc. When they idiots start eating each other, demand peaceful and unconditional surrender with the understanding that everyone left alive inside of the CHAZ will be going to jail for life.

No cops, no soldiers. Let Obama’s Civilian Security Force handle it... https://youtu.be/Tt2yGzHfy7s

Oops, I meant Obama’s Civilian National Security Force (CNSF).

I propose sending in the Army to:

1) create a ring of control around the area - seal off all entrances and exits. Concertina wire fenses, etc.

2) Leave one and only one exit. That exit should limit the flow outbound to one at a time. Have cameras and finger print readers at the exit. Stop all who are exiting for photographs and finger prints. Document their presence. Arrest those who will not identify.

3) Notify those in the “zone” that they will have X hours to leave and if they do so by then, they will only be documented at the exit point. However, if they do not leave by the time limit, they will be arrested at the exit point.

4) Enforce the fence with water cannons, pepper spray, rubber bullets, and even baynets if needed to prevent a breach of the fense

5) Nothing in - only those who surrender for arrest allowed out

6) wait

LOL! It happened through Occupy Wall Street and the protests around the Capitol building and the bizarre tent city squalor allowed for what seemed like “forever.”

I got my picture taken with a bunch of protesters in front of the Capitol building. I have a bunch of happy liberals surrounding me (I need to get a poster made).

Madison and Milwaukee are liberal hotbeds, but at least Madison has a good selection of restaurants.

OK, now you’ve tantalized me with your tale. What happened after that? Don’t tell me that these Occupiers are still there...

I worked downtown seattle when the WTO thing was going on. I remember walking by lines of “stormtroopers” on my way to work with vacant streets. I don’t know who the mayor was then, but no protesters took over any of the town. ;)

People need to understand that this tiny four block area is peopled by the folks that “took it over” and this thing is utterly symbolic. If they try to expand it, though, things could get ugly. I think the city is taking a “wait them out” sort of position and, from the looks of things, won’t have to wait long.

This weekend is sure gonna be interesting, though. And we’re flyhing there Saturday, and my son lives just a couple of blocks from this site.

They don’t have a problem cracking down on the members of the sovereign citizen movement, I’d like to know what’s the difference with this bunch, other than that they’re even more provocative.

“Occupy Madison has been working alongside people experiencing homelessness since they formed in solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street movement in 2011. The group had a large encampment in Madison, which like many other Occupy camps across the country attracted people with nowhere else to go — including the homeless.”

“We had our general assembly meetings and over time more and more of the people there on site were not political activists, but homeless people,” Clemente said.

They merged with the homeless, for those who were left after that first full winter. Now, the few left have “tiny houses.”

I included "parts of Illinois" because of Chicago ....

My point is to make aware that we hear almost nothing about our northern states, which is how obumbles got the sommali influx from Maine to Minnesota

I believe that they think of him (Trump) because he is the only adult in the room. The mayor, the city council, the Washington state patrol, and the governor are all feckless moronic leftists, unable to tie their own shoelaces.

Burn the building squarely in the middle, turn off the water, and have a Winnie roast.

And that’s the gist of it. This is nothing more than the worst block party ever with some low level rapper using it to spruce up his street cred. Idiots all.

As a result of all this, there are many, many people who simply don’t give a sh!t about what happens in our cities anymore.

Bingo.

I think cities that have been under Democrat control for decades are going to do very, very poorly. And I think the President is going to make this very clear to voters as we approach November.

The Democrats want him to screw up. I think he’s sitting back, watching them screw up.

And the MSM with them

But Chicago “borders,” well, Lake Michigan. East of Chicago, across the lake, is Michigan (and the Michigan UP is north of Chicago, via the lake); directly north is Wisconsin; southeast is Indiana. There quite simply is no way to get to the Canadian border from Chicago without going through another US state or its territorial waters.

You know, it is one of the most beautiful urban shorelines as seen from Lake Michigan on a clear day.
