If it was me, I’d put a ring of steel around their wall and check the ID of everyone going in and out, and charge a tax on all goods going in and out to pay for it as well - if I was minded to let any supplies go in at all.

Yes, I like that idea. Cut off water, sewer and power. That is exactly what some Dem beach towns did during the height of the virus when they tried to stop city folk from moving into their summer homes. Somehow it was not met with outrage from the media.
