It’s “blue flu” season ...isn’t it? I mean, I have to believe that police officers are getting sick of this.

” to the same law enforcement agency that very often is the perpetrator of similar actions that caused the demonstrations in Portland these past weeks”

What a disgusting demagogue.

The Portland police have perpetrated WHAT actions that caused demonstrations? Is Minneapolis on the Columbia?

What a complete jerk. If anything the Portland police are a meek and neutered shadow of an effective police agency. All because of trash like Ted.

Hey Ted, what’s your wife doing tonight? You gonna be home or out tokin’ with your buds? Maybe we’ll stop by and see her. Who ya gonna call, man? The Portland Eunuch force?

That’s okay, it’s not like they were going to use the funds for that anyway.

Imitate their lifestyle, sit on your a@@ all day and demand money from de gubmint for your “health issues” which include being a freaking drug addict. Yeah, that’s ‘gettin’ down’ with the homies. If one iota of their tiny world is upset, like the EBT card has a zero balance un replenished they riot and burn up their cages... sorry “cribs”. Corn is what is put in cribs, and pigs eat the corn and get... harvested.

This is all over. Doped out morons making demands and are common criminals, violent criminals. Need killing, frankly.

“This comes just one day after the Oregon Cannabis Association (OCA) called upon Wheeler to stop sending Portland police budget funding derived from cannabis tax revenue.”

Money is fungible.

Police will either receive tax dollars or they won’t. It doesn’t matter to the employee whether the money comes from the port or starboard pocket.

...In Washington state, Colorado, and Oregon, a study published in the Addiction journal reported there was one additional traffic death per million residents the first year of marijuana legalization. But scientists found this increase was temporary and rates returned to normal after a year...

As a southern Oregon resident I can tell you that the number of vehicles I see "driving while toking" has increased substantially over the years.

Which doesn't contradict the study's finding of no additional traffic deaths.

Portland got rid of all the GOOD cops three years ago. They are 200 understaffed. Anyone who was honest quit, or was "retired". All they have left is a cowardly Brute Squad.

The Police Commissioner is ALSO the Mayor, Red Ted "the Commie" Wheeler.

"Which doesn't contradict the study's finding of no additional traffic deaths."

Full of sh!t like a Christmas turkey.

You think states that have legalized dope are going to publicize the fatalities? The heart attacks, DUIs, playing tag with trains, strokes?

It's going to take YEARS. and new administrations from the Other Party for the truth about drug induced deaths to surface.

Give your brain a chance.

“You think states that have legalized dope are going to publicize the fatalities?”

The study’s data is from the feds (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/add.14536).

And the feds are going to question the data they get from the states, and do their OWN independent investigation. Just like how states assign Covid as cause of death to get grant money. Hillary won the 2016 election, too.

I want to play poker with you. There is this island, near Tahiti, that I want to buy...

Dopers ALWAYS are frantic that someone is going to take away their high. After all, what is better than a chemical stupid, adding to their genetic stupid?

The up side is that pot smokers die young. Carl Sagan, 62, my brother, 44, his common law wife, 47...
