The French alone disprove the concept of white supremacy

“Wish I had gone to Paris : (”

Been a couple times. Other than Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower not much to see. Better places to go in Europe.

Amsterdam was weirdest city I’ve ever been in. Was walking through the red light district behind several American grandmothers. One of them shouted out “Look! Live sex acts in nets. Let’s go!!!” And they did.

I was embarrassed for my country.

You need to watch out for those small, smiling guys that carry big, curved blade knives.

“Back in 1994, I visited Paris. Down at the Eiffel Tower, I saw plenty of big CRS riot cops.”

We had been in Devon and the surrounding area checking out some of my ancestors, great trout fishing and fishing for salmon.

My wife had been bugging me about going to France. So we decided to go on 4 Jul 1994 going on the Chunnel/train to Paris so I wouldn’t start our 3rd war with my Brit cousins.

After we detrained, we took a subway into the center of Paris and exited by Notre Dame. The first of many interesting events happened when my wife asked a haughty French woman asked where Notre Dame was.

The French bitch came unglued and went off on my wife, and I was about ready to end it when a local French Cop came in and told the French bitch to shut up and a French woman apologized and led us over to Notre Dame.

I was wearing a US Navy baseball hat, and most people went out of their way to thank us. I noticed that there were 2 types of French Motorcycle cops. One type looked a recruitment photo, turned out they were French Foreign and the others were just motorcycle cops. As the bus we were riding in, started to pull into a bus parking spot, a guy in big Merc pulled into the where the Bus was heading and parked.

The driver made a call and came back and said watch this.

One of the FFL’s motorcycle cops pulled up and asked the a$$hole to leave. The A$$hole gave the FFL the finger.

In about 2 seconds, the FFL had flipped the A$$hole in the air very hard and landing on the trunk lid. The dummy again gave the FFL cop the finger. In about 2 seconds the FFL had his auto pistol in the dummy’s mouth. Soon some regular cops came up and dragged him away and had a tow truck take his Merc away. The idiots expensive white linen pants were a little soiled.

The day went on like that. We learned that most French men didn’t like Belgium scum. Americans were well liked by most French.

If you wore something showing that you were American and Military, they went out of their way to be nice.

I went to Omaha Beach on June 7, 1994, D-Day + 50 years+ 1 day.

Bill Clinton was there the day before and the yellow streaks were still visible on the grass.

I stole a small bottle of sacred sand.
———————————-
Isn’t that when Billy was given some rocks and he did a photo op of making a cross in the sand on the beach. What a phony and the tds people scream about our pres. holding up a bible.

The lib mayors and governors are simply standing with the left agenda.....doing exactly what they’re told to do. I watched Gov. Wolf of PA. bow to Cuomo and Dibaseo with this coronavirus..and he’s still doing so.

Obama united Lib mayors across the US during his term......to act as one. Same with Lib Governors. I posted a couple articles relating to this and what his agenda was about. Unfortunately it didn’t get much response.

I would not know. I haven’t been there since before Notre Dame was destroyed.

At that time, one just had to avoid the Muslim neighborhoods. For years, it has been a bit risky to take the RER train from Charles de Gaulle into the downtown area. At least one of the stations was in a nogo area. One of our compatriots got robbed right on the train.

The nogo areas were generally outside the peripherique which was the highway surrounding the city.

The train station at La Defense, also outside the peripherique, has been a problem in the evenings for 20 years. When we were first warned that it was dicey, a friend of mine and I ignored the warning and wound up there waiting for a train in the evening. We became concerned when we noticed that the police were patrolling in groups of 6 with two guard dogs and two machine guns. This happened over 20 years ago. It is not likely to be better, now.

My mother was a reporter in Washington, DC in the 1920s. She saw a race riot put down by cavalry from Fort Myer. She said they used the back of their sabers.

The French Foreign Legion have some hardcore, kick-ass troops; and SOME of their officers are first-rate. The problem with the Legion, as with most military forces, is that the upper command echelon are politically motivated, and that can be fatal to the effectiveness of a fighting force.

True, but when you see tourist attractions being guarded by the kepi blancs, you know that at least somebody is taking a threat seriously.

BTW, I read recently that there is a winery that is run by retired legionnaires. I'll have to look for more info - that's an enterprise worth supporting.

Good story Dave.

The wife and I were in DC a couple of years ago for 10-days and we were so surprised at how friendly and helpful people were when we asked directions, and we asked a lot of people for help.

Heck, the manager of one of the metro train stations left his kiosk and helped us obtain tickets from the vending machines.

We were, and still are, a couple of hicks from Idaho and we were expecting a different experience.

Must be us????

Must be us????

Greeting people with a smile and “How are you today!”

Then pausing and saying I/we need help finding XXXXXX.

Then saying “Thank you!”

Worked for our grandparents, parents, siblings, adult children and is still working for our grandkids.
