My wife has a soft voice. We were in a store yesterday that had some mask Nazi at the front door and made me wear one. (I usually don’t bother even though the Governor calls it a law)
It’s not because the state constitution is clear that the governor does not have the power to create law and under the first Amendment, I cannot be forced to wear a specific article of clothing.
Anyway, I just can’t hear a word she says when it’s muffled under the stupid mask. Finally I just told her that if she needs to say something, either yell or take the stupid mask off.
I hate what absolutely mindless sheep most Americans have blindly turned into.
I honestly wore masks for some jobs in the past, and when it’s hot, back in those saner times, the supervisor reminded us to get out of the dirty zone and get a drink so we wouldn’t get dehydrated from all that sweating in a mask. The mask was used for the really immediate danger that we might inhale dust in large quantities and in some cases, avoid inhaling asbestos. I am not wearing one outside in the heat.
