CHICAGO (CBS) — Protesters have locked themselves inside the campus police headquarters at the University of Chicago, and now they say officers won’t let anyone bring them food.

Looks like the admin might be starving them out.
Now compare that with fathers being arrested in front of their kids in the park for not respecting COVID lockdowns - or DeBlasio threatening to have cops "pull people from the water" if they deign to go to the beach during "his" lockdown.
Imagine if cops were sent in to break this up based on COVID lockdown protocol. Bunch of hypocrites...
Won’t let anyone bring them food? Look for a mouse or rat in the building. I am sure there is a microwave item for cooking stuff.
Oh, come on! I went to U of C. They were (and I am sure are) little more than a symbolic gesture, a deterrent, and someone to shadow a student (usually female) who is walking alone at night and wants a “shadow”. I went there for three years without having a direct interaction, despite living far off the main campus in the lake front Shoreland (R.I.P.) dorm.
Interestingly, the protesters are not bothering the small police force run near Kenwood (a little north, overlaps U of C area) by Farrakhan’s people.
Shouldn’t someone be towing their cars for violating the COVID-19 rules about the number of people in one place?
I can’t wait for all the whining about Trump’s rally. “What, liberals have been holding constant political rallies in the streets, what’s different that it’s in an arena? The lack of green house gasses being released by the rioter’s fires?”

Involuntary hunger strike. Works for me. I would also cut off the utilities. I would then chain the doors. Even though their occupation location would not change, the psychological affect would be massive.
I have zero tolerance for these people. I hope the DOJ is digging into who funds these movements and takes them down hard.
Really, where is their commitment? Now, Bobby Sands, say what you will, that was commitment!
If you really want to get their attention (only works for actual students) pile their transcripts in front of the building and give them 10 minutes to leave the building before you burn them.

That could be a new game show. See how fast they go from sitting to the door starting when the flame gets lit.
On the other hand, those that are sitting there are likely “Studies” students. Their degrees are pretty much worthless anyway. STEM students are usually too busy with learning useful skills.

On one condition I would agree: that ALL killings in ‘Chicargo’ must be done on that campus. If even ONE black shoots and kills another black not on that campur then the deal is off.
Access the ventilation system with an aerosol that smells like almonds and/or mowed grass and a smokiness for effect as the doors are visibly chained shut. They’ll think they’re being gassed and panic and want out now!
