When I saw the charges against this officer it made me think about all the black crime victims who will have nowhere to turn to in their community. If i was a white officer working in a predominantly black city I wouldn’t risk my life, freedom and livelihood to protect and serve a city who doesn’t support me and will try the crucify me if I have to use deadly force against a black man. I can’t blame any white officer who shows up to work just to cash a paycheck. I just hope some politicians and anti police activists make it on the victims list. They deserve it most.
I think the APD is 60% black now. If yesterdays walkout was as big as some say, that’s a whole lot of black officers who got the “bluflu” as well.
