I’m for making Juneteenth a Federal Holiday.
Reparations?...not so much.
People like to talk about it, but NO ONE knows what it really means. Of course, it’s always open-ended, meaning if American are made to pay reparations, there is no end to it. Who gets reparations? Only descendants of slaves or all black citizens? What about people who are half, quarter, or only a small fraction African American? Do wealthy black people also qualify? Who pays? Everyone or only white Americans? What about recent immigrants?
No one has ANY answers.
