I’m sure that statue is on the list. It’s not a top priority. But they’ll get to it eventually.
They would be remiss if they did not fire all zookeepers at the Columbus Zoo and rename it the Columbus Animal Autonomous Zone, or CAAZ.

Volgograd was originally named Tsaritsyn from the 1500’s until the Russian revolution.
In 1925 it was renamed Stalingrad to reward Stalin for his part in defending the city against the white Russian forces between 1917-1923.
Khrushchev renamed it Volgograd in 1961 as a part of his de-Stalinisation of the USSR.
