There are some folks that don’t even need a “semi-auto”.
Such folks can place a shot inside the area of a golf ball at over 1000 yards away. Some even better than that. The perp would never even hear the shot that killed em because they would be dead on the ground before the sound even got there. IMHO, that is much better strategy than the “spray & pray” approach.
