Do you really think they entered in valid info?

Tracking ip address and other technology tricks are how data collection is done.

I don't think for a minute that my screen name of USS Alaska protects my real identity to anyone with even minimum tech skills.

If you think that data gathering depends on the honesty of the person doing the keyboard driving, you live in a dream world.

In a world where people talk to their devices to start their car, change TV channels, turn up/down heat/lights, there is so little privacy, it is scary.

Think of how little we use real money in today's electronic world, and how that reveals so much about each of us to interested parties.

We are long past 1984, Big Brother is not just watching, he is directing us.

What do you think they’re going to do with the metadata? Is Parscale’s IT team going to erect a vast blacklist if the same people try to register for the next rally?

THAT is the “dream world” scenario, IMO.
