It is more complicated than that. The mayor of Seattle has proven she cannot, or will not govern. She has supported an insurrection against the government of the US. Same as the South in the Civil War. If the US government has to go in to restore order, it needs to declare martial law and disband the city government, and arrest and incarcerate the seditionists. There must be a media black out.

I am from the south and can advise Seattle the right way to secede from the union. Lots of luck!
