The statue of President Teddy Roosevelt at the entrance to the Museum of Natural History in Manhattan will be removed amid widespread protests over racial inequality and police brutality in the United States, a report said Sunday.
The statue, depicting the former president on horseback while flanked by a Native American man and a black man, has stood at the museum’s entrance since 1940, the New York Times reported.

I think Teddy was against folks like my grandfather pouring in at the time from other countries.
Who cares? He was a good president and an important part of American history. And at the time he might have been right about everyone pouring in.

He hated Jefferson and probably would have hated the Rushmore memorial because he is depicted next to Jefferson.
Teddy blamed Jefferson for the Civil War. He also hated Jefferson’s economic ideas. He was more of a Hamiltonian.

He was alive when Teddy Roosevelt was governor and President. He loved the guy.
Roosevelt was a great American and a man’s man.
