Former NFL Player Burgess Owens on Kaepernick: ‘We’re Looking at Approving Affirmative Action for a Marxist

Former New York Jets safety Burgess Owens recently slammed the NFL for looking to implement “affirmative action for a Marxist,” by encouraging teams to sign Colin Kaepernick.

As a member of the San Francisco 49ers, Kaepernick prominently started protesting against the country during the playing of the national anthem in 2016 but found himself left unsigned by any NFL team the following year when he turned free agent. Despite not playing since 2017, this year, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has begun saying that the NFL needs to work with Kaepernick to guide the league’s spending on social justice issues.

On top of that, players, coaches, and owners are insisting that protests during the anthem are perfectly fine, and despite the last three seasons of bans, the protests will return once the league launches its 2020 season.

When there’s an exhibition game in London, will they stand for God Save the Queen and kneel for the Star Spangled Banner?

I think that’s the plan.

We need current NFL players to say something. I have no plans on watching now. I was excited before all this. That’s quite a marketing strategy they have there :-)

Nobody watches a sport they don’t like because the sport becomes woke.

There are sports I don’t like and if they supporting our causes that’s great but I don’t like the sport. So I don’t watch it.

all the NFL has done was ostracised a large amount of people that they actually got back last year. And maybe even more.

Won’t watch football if a team signs him. May not watch it anyway.

It takes more courage to criticize Kaepernick than it does to kneel, cower, and grovel for the Woke Mob.

Bottom line: Its an incredibly profitable business. Most of the employees are black. The business ultimately must have labor peace or it can’t operate. It realizes that much of its customer base will be alienated by its policies and accommodations. However the owners have made a business decision. Now the customers need to make their free choices. It will be what it will be. America is badly divided.

Burgess is running as a GOP candidate for Con-Gress, and unlike most of the Republicans in or out of Con-Gress, he names the particular affliction for what it is, Marxism.

So please donate to his campaign. I already did.

Face it. Kaepernick could be a cannibal and he'd still have a job in the NFL if he was a decent quarterback. But he isn't.

In a recent interview Seahawks coach Pete Carroll lamented, whined, sniveled, emitted estrogen fumes, and damn near started lactating while expressing deep shame that Seattle didn't sign the idiot Colon Kapernick. It was disgusting.
The NFL has been dead to me for a few years, now even more so.

Probably right, it will still be funny watching them fake drop easily catchable balls hitting them in their hands between the numbers.

Only if Winston sits on the bench.

He is also the author of a national bestseller Liberalism or How to Turn Good Men into Whiners, Weenies and Wimps

While it specifically targets the NAACP, the same M.O. can be seen in like-minded and even more radical groups like BLMm.

Since there are no actual spectators in the stands, the networks could be forced to switch to a recorded patriotic version of the National Anthem and flyover, then back to the actual football game afterwards. Of course the networks would never go for it.

“America is badly divided.”

By the lowest unemployment seen by Blacks since the number was being measured.

Think about that.

.

The NFL should set a rule that the fans will be allowed to throw garbage at any player kneeling during the National Anthem.

Laying face down on the ground completely will be ignored.
