He knows the business of making laws, and he might not have been rated 100, but he knows his way around and will not try grandstanding like Mittens or McCain, bucking his party to get media attention. He’s not a media darling. Never meant to be. Just a solid enough vote, definitely against illegal immigration and sanctuary cities and the like, which is why he was an early Trump supporter, back when everyone else thought Trump was just clowning around.
