First of all, they are writers, not authors. Secondly, in this case, with a lot of minor details, names, locations, districts, having 5 is understandable.

In KY Senate that army bitch that lost to Andy Barr is ahead of the Black progressive but Louisville will not have results tonight. I expect the Black guy to pull ahead. McConnell is safe either way but smart democrats desperately don’t want a woke progard as the nominee in KY.

New York Democrat Carolyn Maloney is in a very tight race as of this moment to win renomination in NY-12, ahead just 41.7% to her nearest challenger Suraj Patel with 39.8%.
Not good for her, but it appears almost none of the vote in in yet, right?
Interesting. I always thought that the words for racial identity were just ordinary adjective, didn’t need to be capitalized. But as you may have heard, at least one medua organization has decided to uniquely capitalize “black.“
