When you add the CDU/CSU, the AfD, and the FDP, you could have a center right coalition of 53.3% of the population.
The problem is that Angela Merkel has turned the Christian Democrats, who once had pro-American stalwart Konrad Adenauer as its leader, into a left of center party, posing as a right of center party — sort of like our RINOs.
