They have made George and his story more popular than that of The Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel of salvation from such a life as George's, or Trayvon Martin's, or Michael Brown's.
What is happening here is that he got on the offside of God's appointed ministers, the sword-bearing law enforcement officers, due to his criminal passing of a counterfeit bill, just another act in his long history of law-breaking behavior.
